Been hit by a 95 Ford airbag. Can confirm, not enjoyable.

Yeah, most of these trucks don’t leave the city. That’s what they’re for.

Not all that well I recon.

I’d say it has something to do with promising a Class 8 truck with a 300 mile range for $150,000

The key to successful heel-toe shifting is to first understand that you don’t need to, and probably cannot fire off racecar fast downshifts in everyday driving.

That is a handsome car.

Anyone think this car will still exist in 2 years?

That Jeep’s owned by a poseur. I can tell because there’s no extra light bars or beefy 35" tires. And it has its stock wheels and factory fender flares. Phony Jeep bro.

Trust me, I thought about it already. However, the real issues with big block swaps in Panteras are the torque thru the ZF transaxle and the length of the engine. The ZF transaxle is very expensive to rebuild and can develop problems somewhere above 500 lb-ft of torque. The length of most big blocks (looks like the

Uncreative as a reference, but it still looks great on it’s own.

I really hope you meant “splurge”, because otherwise this crime got a whole lot weirder

Neutral: I have experienced “unintentional acceleration.” It was in the late 1990s after I’d only been driving for a year or two. I hit Resume on the cruise control in my 1989 Bonneville within a couple mph of the set point, at which point it floored the gas and just kept accelerating well past the set point. When I

One simple rule that would have saved the Smart Car: “Don’t build crap.”

What do you call a bunch of Alfa Romeos that haven’t moved for years?

I feel this article is lacking a bit of detail about this thing. I’d love to know specific powertrain modifications and more importantly the suspension differences that we can see a sneak peak of in a few of those pictures.

Part of me admires the brutality of it, the raw unedited and unrefined brutalism of it speaks to me.

However, the other part of me has eyes.

I hate misinformed comments like this. The last time that BMW offered their engines to JLR, we got BMW M62 powered L322 Range Rovers, which are the least reliable of the L322s. I’ve seen people turn these trucks down for free. The Jaguar AJV8 series of motors (Which is actually what the FType has now - just a 5.0

I once had 2.38 tons of gravel in the bed of my ‘11 F-150 long bed w/ payload package. Yes, I had almost 4800 pounds in the bed of a truck rated for 1800 lol It was a 3 mile drive from the supply yard to my house. Was I riding on the bump stops? Maybe. Would I do it again? No.  But the truck survived.

This. There is nothing wrong with owning fire arms- some people hunt, some people go to the shooting range, and some people just collect. The NRA and the US could have doubled down and been promoted fire-arm education, testing, background checks, mental health checks, etc.
