Any kind of contribution counts as an “Elimination” in Overwatch. I’ve just barely tagged a guy and gotten the elimination 10 seconds later.

I know why it bothers me. Because I was totally hyped up to find out what cool role the totally not dead former head of Blackwatch would have in whatever story comes of this.

It’s the play of the game aspect of him that annoys me. I enjoy Genji a lot so I am well aware of the joy of deflecting his attacks, but near every match with a bastion in it gives him play of the game from my beta experiences. It’s incredibly irritating. I don’t even want to get PotG myself, I’m mediocre at best. But…
