According to the linked articles, it’s based on the actual wireless radio signals being sent between the USB dongle and the mouse. One article says 100 meters, one article says 200 meters...and it appears that these tests were done in open areas, without the usual concrete, brick, wallboard, etc that degrades signals

“every other country”

This. It’s like if a black man wrote an essay about Obama and heavily implied he wasn’t a real black man because he never joined a gang or smoked crack. It’s literally criticizing the man for not embodying stereotypes.

Well this gay man found parts of the article to be quite homophobic. Calling a gay man “Mary” in an attempt to degrade and belittle him is pretty textbook homophobia.

Is it possible that it’s maybe not outright homophobia, but still pretty shitty to criticize someone for not being gay the way you want them to be (politician or not)?

I don’t think your take is the point of the tax. Not all taxes are designed to discourage use. They have to be exorbitantly high to have that effect. The point is to fund other transportation initiatives. Giving people more options over flying. No one is going to not fly because of a $20 tax on a seat but they might

“someone being a cheater doesn’t make them worth less”

Er, yes it does. Unless you meant “worthless”, which is fair.

Yes but this is counterbalanced by the fact that you leave your house every morning with a full “tank”.

Charging has never been a problem. I plug it in when I park in my garage. I unplug before I leave. The tank is full every morning. I rarely drive over 100 miles in a day.

alright, now how is the government unofficially supporting them?

Ahh here’s the first of many good old “us is just as bad LOL” posts.

The Microsoft presentation was also excellent. But between them and Nintendo, whoever at Sony decided not to show up this year is going to be murdered in the parking lot.

Yeah I seem to remember the zeitgeist being that long was annoying and hodgman was endearing

The ads went a long way to establish a douchey reputation. Seriously, they were extremely irritating.

Did he say if anyone at Apple ever realized that a not insignificant swath of their target audience vastly preferred Hodgman to Long?

So old cars are going extinct, you know what I say to that?
