Curious what kind of clusterfuck behind the scenes must have happened to result in this situation. Fully expecting tales of massive assholery to come out some time in the future.

More likely it was that cosplay was pretty under the radar, and those that were cosplaying were doing so on a limited basis.  Now that cosplay is entering into the general populus there’s a need by copyright holders to protect their IP, otherwise they could lose out on licensing fees.

Honorable mentions! There were some games that I didn’t put on here because they just didn’t seem good enough OR I didn’t play enough of them to feel comfortable putting on my GOTY list.

It won’t take 100 hours. I started with Inquisition back when it came out and I think it might have been a 40-50 hour game. The reason it’s even that long is the lousy fetch style sidequests. You can get through the meat of the game long before that.

I usually crank the brightness up a step or two above the recommended setting. I hate when I can’t see shit in the darkness.

Part of the problem for me is it’s contextually blind. Sure I can “barely” see your logo but during the game I’m not looking on a translucent logo on a black wall. I’m looking at a level and with lights and objects in motion. It would be much more helpful if it played a video of some gameplay or AT LEAST a still image…

Definitely the Gamecube. If it weren’t for Resident Evil 4, I probably would have regretted buying it entirely.

It came out when I was 18 and I didn’t get it for another year or two after that. It was the first time in my life that I had any money at all, and I was bad at resisting the call of new video game hardware…

I’m gonna play the waiting game regarding the PS5. I’m expecting bundles to be popping up in the next 6 months, just like I did with my PS4. I scored the GTAV/Last of Us bundle for $400 a year after the PS4's initial release. Otherwise I don’t need a new console at this time. And with games like Spidey Miles Morales…

I didn’t get a Switch until last Christmas and I didn’t get a PS4 (Pro) until a month or so before The Last Of Us: Part II was released (I have an older gaming PC which is where I play most third party games).

If you follow math laws that formula is incorrect. The original looks like a transitive relation when written that way. That says 20*13 equals 260+13 and 260+13 equals 273 ergo 20*13 equals 273. You're correct in his intent, but the way it was written is confusing.
