Darling, youTube is blocked here. The GIF is the only thing I can see. If it’s not representative why would a Gawker Journalist post it?

These arguments sound vaguely familiar. Oh yeah, the EXACT same argument going from DVD to BluRay nearly to the word. Marketing speak designed to get you to buy the newest thing. Better color, better sound, better detail. There comes a point, and we are very nearly there if not past that point, where we will not be

Eh. 4K is to new and BARLEY used. I’ll buy it in like 5+ years when its cheaper and maybe its being used more. To early for now. Not to mention the video isn’t that appealing. I realize youtube can’t display 4k right on my crappy monitor but none the less it looks really black and bland. I’ll stick with my normal

Well, having never seen that view of....San Francisco?....I would have never known that it’s supposed to look so brown and not so blue.

This looks more like someone dicked with the color settings on 2 different videos then tried to convince me one was better than the other.

I have the same question. Looks like blu ray has much more natural colors.

Is brown and blown out supposed to get me to buy a new HDR TV?
