Unpopular opinion: I thought season one was hot messy garbage as well.

As an old, Fargo 2 not only was brilliant in terms of acting and directing, it was also spot in capturing the icky drabness of the late 70s.
This guy is in serious denial if he thinks what Pizzolatto really needs is more autonomy.
HOT TAKE
`It`s like,uh, blue balls in your heart`.An unforgivable line of dialogue.
Conan, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart are some seriously funny dudes. Put them together in a car with a student driver, and…
She also said that racism isn’t a problem in this country because she’s the Governor. Which is really cute because other Republicans were calling her a “raghead” before her election.
You left out the most important and devastating effect of lead poisoning - brain damage. A whole city full of children are now at risk for learning and developmental disabilities that could have been easily prevented by not fucking with the water supply. Combating lead poisoning in children has been one of the most…
I hate that this will be seen as a mistake or an accident. Make no mistake, this was done on purpose. This was done by someone who doesn’t see value in the Flynt population. If you dont test and make sure the thing that people cannot live without, the thing they need to consume to live is safe, then it is probably…
Detroit’s water system is in no way a mess. What are you even talking about?
And instead of getting extra funding and help to combat the issues caused by lead exposure, the state will do a legislative “oops, my bad” and give a small payout to a bunch of families (a payout made even smaller after the lawyers get their cut). In 15 years those kids will be troubled adults and people will point to…
The first two things the city manager slashed in the budget was education and healthcare. Flint will be lucky to get the prebudget funds, let alone what they actually need.
Rachel Maddow has been covering this extensively for several weeks now; in fact I’m certain the reason it’s getting national attention is because of all the time she’s spent discussing it. Do yourself a favor and listen to her take on it. She gets right to the heart of why this is all so infuriating (and shady as…
How likely do you think that a GOP governor will allow the funds for long term medical and educational resources for the people his administration poisoned? The GOP don’t want those funds to go to healthy people to start with, I doubt they’ll go out of their way for the rest.
Another example of what happens without REGULATION and OVERSIGHT - it often winds up costing more plus horrific damage to people.
GOP needs to lose their B.S. “no regulations” talking point. It’s plain f*cking WRONG.
Detroit’s water is some of the finest drinking water in the country.
You should also mention how Snyder giving himself the power to remove elected officials and replace them with his own candidates led to this. The people of Flint had voted in someone else that oversaw this and Synder put in his own guy instead. He is 100% at fault.
Actually the Detroit water system is not a mess, it services most of southeastern Michigan and there are never issues about quality.
This is a whole generation of kids who have lead poisoning and are going to suffer from it for the rest of their lives. My god, the education and medical interventions are going to be massive.
So, basically stonewalled for EIGHT MONTHS after he received notification?
Is this perhaps the kind of negligence that sparks recall campaigns?
