Bingo. Not everyone can afford Ralph Lauren clothing. Some shows I try and search for dresses or sweaters I see on screen and GODDAMN are they dressing everyone in designer shit.

I can’t be the only person who grew up in a small town in the early 00s and knew people who dressed exactly like that, though, can I? I know I’m not alone here. Not only did I make some of Rory’s mistakes myself, but all the adults I saw around me were dressing like Lorelei and Sookie, too.

Yeh, the clothing style most DEFINITELY fit the era of clothing. the Early 2000s were a fucked up time for a lot of us.
