So outraged that the vehicle they bought pollutes and harms the environment (more than they were led to believe) when it is driven, they decide to drive it across the county.

Fun fact:

Should have called the FD. Departments in my area have special thawing ovens (basically big tents they erect around a piece of apparatus they can heat) to get their vehicles back in service.

And Fire Departments know a thing or two about frozen vehicles.
