Exactly, and in speaking about photography it's almost incorrect to type RAW as an acronym. Very few if any DSLRs use the .RAW format. It's kind if ridiculous how far and wide it seems to spread that people think if they type RAW, it's correct.

I would just like to point out that 'raw' is not an acronym in photography. It simply indicates an untouched image best suited for manipulation.
