And you're arguing that this is a good thing?

Windows 8.1?

There's just something about saying, "I'm looking for a Kia". It just rubs me the wrong way.

That is assuming anyone would actually purchase a Kia.

Apparently you don't understand logic either.

Oh come on....if you can't make the jump from iPhone to giant iPhone I'm wasting my bloody time.

Well it's the truth. Runs IOS, apps from the App Store, has a lightning connector and doesn't have expandable memory. It's the same bloody thing.

Because Apple and their mobile strategy are slowly but surely becoming the next Blackberry. What happened to Blackberry? They gained a massive marketshare and released essentially the same product for years and years and years because they were afraid to change their product. They clung to what was successful in

Lame and entirely uninspired. It's thinner, it's lighter. This is the stuff that anyone with a brainstem should come to expect from the next generation of any device, no matter the manufacturer. Same processor and buzz-word marketing as the iPhone 5s? Big surprise....(your sarcasm detector should be broken).

You guys seem to be having a serious problem when it comes to the Surface Wrong pic, and really the wrong comparison. Should compare to the Surface 2, not the Pro 2.

As of right now it's not competing with itself. This tablet was in development before the acquisition was announced. Nokia and Microsoft have to tread lightly to avoid issues with anti-trust laws. Any colab between the two will be closely monitored. So it has to appear as business as usual for the companies. As

Raw is not an acronym. Its simply spelled. Raw.

Absolutely I'm arguing that Windows 8.1 is better than 7. I find it interesting that you feel you can be an authority commenting about the viability of a feature when you are a self proclaimed non-user.

You seem to be missing a very large point. You can change the start button to take you to the apps list instead of the start screen. SOOOO instead of being taken to a small menu that only utilizes a portion of the screen. You now have the entire screen with a customizable apps list to choose from.

Yeah, but see here's the thing. It's not societies choice. I don't recall voting on 'global warming' issues. I don't recall being able to voice my opinion. This is an agenda being pushed on the people of the world by a couple of guys that have a vested interest in creating a scare about global warming. A previous

Yes it does matter. The cautionary principle is a dangerous thing and can be used to justify just about anything. "Well we should do this just in case". I could rationalize this to say, "Well this kid may not be the next Hitler, but we should probably kill him just in case."

This is hilarious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

I think at the moment they're ahead of the curve. But when people are carrying around the power of a Lenovo Yoga or other type of Ultrabook around in the form factor roughly the size of an Ipad. That turns heads.

I think that's part of the point. The laptop market is dying, but the tablet market is exploding. That's where they're trying to go. Take the tablet market where it really should have been 3-4 years ago. With a full blown desktop OS, not a giant mobile phone.

What about just freaking letting Star Wars go. its over, finished. I really don't want 10 more years of Mcdonald's commercials with the star wars theme.
