I feel the same way about car transporters. I give those trucks a WIDE berth, especially if the road is on the bumpy side and the trailer’s bouncing around.

I refuse to be behind even pick ups with stuff in the bed. I’ve seen shit fly out too many times. Almost had a shovel take me out that flew off a landscapers trailer, absolutely terrifying.
1st Gear: just like when Trump proposed lowering COVID cases by stopping testing for COVID. “If you don’t test you won’t find new cases”
I hope the autoworkers are happy they don’t have to build WOKE EVs when they are at home not building anything because their union protections went out the window.
Just like when he said we can lower COVID cases by not testing for COVID.
Spiteful and world-class stupid pretty much sums up the incoming administration.
God damn all of the stupid racist assholes that voted for Trump. They have already damned the rest of us.
Lowering standards so you can meet them is peak Trump...
My dad once told me “its better to stay warm than have to get warm”.
That being said, one year I did “darkside” a maxi-scooter with car snow tires. It was entertaining how much traction I had, but I don’t recommend it. I would say to go with studs, but they’re almost certainly illegal for road use where you live.
I’ve been riding every winter since I got my license in 2018. I still do things the old-school way. I bundle up in LOTS of layers and hit the tarmac looking like I ate an entire cow or something. But, I do stay pretty toasty. I’m looking forward to seeing how your approach works!
I know a bunch of hardcore bikers in an MC and they hold winter rally events. They stud minibike tires and race them on a frozen pond. Since they’re hardcore bikers (aka moto-nerds) they break the bikes down into different classes, flat head, OHC, etc., then age classes and finally a free for all for the different…
I just parked my bike for the winter, so I’m happy to hear you’re still riding!
It’s amazing what a person can get away with if they just aren’t too greedy or dumb.
I thought the question was about an actual vintage car, but Bradley is the only staffer who seems to have read it the same way. If something modern-ish is acceptable, how about a Saab 900 Turbo convertible?
How exactly would it NOT hurt the owner. He is out $42k in product, product that typically has a very slim margin
Huh.. I wonder how long he could have gotten away with it if he hadn’t been an idiot and had spread it around to a few hundred different locations? No reason..
Where and how did he find this dummy credit card?
When I worked for a black car service some years ago, my Caddy salesman called to tell me he’d just taken a pair of 2-yr-old black Escalade EXT with 10K miles on trade for a pair of new black EXT. This wasn’t a different generation of Escalade, the new ones were identical to the trade-ins. I shook my head in…
When I worked at a dealership a few years ago, we had someone trade in an absolutely loaded new Escalade with 198 miles on it because his wife didn't like it. The bath they must have taken on that is just mind boggling.
