Yep. Museums de-accession parts of their collections all the time. This would likely have been done with Mercedes’ blessing; although that’s not always required.

I know, Florida. There was a story a few years ago about the HOA, I guess it was in the Midwest who harassed a homeowner because he had a old daily driver 50’s or 60’s era Ford pickup truck that had patina on it because, they claimed “it looked blighted”.

There is the possibility (though probably not) the driveway may be considered common area, or have some sort of an access easement as part of the property disclosure. As for whether or not it has valid tags and them not being necessary because vehicle isn’t being operated on public roads, there could be an HOA rule

I live in Canada so we don’t have those pesky HOA but why would an HOA tow a car with expired tags when it is parked in the owner’s driveway? It’s not illegal to have your own car parked in your own driveway if the tags are expired? Where else are you gonna park it?

I’ve lived in a couple, most recently 6 months ago. The 2 I lived in were just fine, no problems what so ever, except the older people that moved in next door in both instances. In both cases the new neighbors were loud as fuck and drove me nuts. First HOA, the older couple proceeded to turn up their surround sound at

One more thing to add to the list of reasons while I will never buy a single-family-home subject to an HOA. I have one now, but I live in a condo tower and they’ve been surprisingly pleasant. When we move back to the mainland though, the first requirement on the list we’ll give the realtor is “No HOA. Not negotiable.”

My deepest and most sincere apologies, dipshit.

exactly - it’s all marketing. They already have a corolla so ‘can’t’ have 2. The GR Corolla is basically the hot hatch in the lineup and more of a spiritual successor to the AE86. The current 86 has the name only but no connection in market placement to the original. The current one is sold as a bare bones sports car,

Apartheid Clyde, perfect, no notes.

Honda is working on this:

The Pacifica PHEV is got a horrible reputation for reliability. The Pacifica isn’t bad. I’ve driven Voyagers and Pacificas as rentals and they are ok, but nothing special.

I live around the block from Larry’s shop so I’ve seen some of the cars both before and after he’s done with them. The way in it’s usually on a flatbed (usually, occasionally the owner drives it in) and on the way out it’s usually when they go out to film them after he’s done.

Owned a Pacifica hybrid.  It was really good, no real issues with the electrical.  Had  a leaky roof from the shark fin antenna, but they fixed it.

EV with a range-extender engine would be GREAT.

This is great since Chryslers are well known for their robust electrical systems. Should work out great, especially if you buy the first model year.

Technically (and therefore the best kind of) correct.

It’s funny because right now they produce two models that seem like they would be a Celica in another decade. The GR86, obviously, is a 4cyl sport coupe which fits the bill. But they also offer the A90 Supra with a 2L 4cyl in Japan, and before the FWD Celica split, the Celica was the 4cyl Supra (or really the Supra

They already made it. It was the 4 cyl Supra.

I’m expecting it to be the the replacement / rename of 86 (or FRS/BRZ)..

Tell me you don’t know anything about the NY Times (past and present) without telling me. The “they used to tell truth to power” is especially laughable given the article quoted is about 10 years before the Times completely hid Stalin committing genocide in Ukraine.
