Maybe there is a correlation between 1st and 2nd gears.

Yep quite a few in LA too

The diecast is a prototype. Delivering next quarter.

Jaguar. Selling 8,000 cars last year, and planning to have no models on the market next year, will anyone other than Waymo notice or care if they are dead or just sleeping?

And there was a lot of initial enthusiasm when they resumed sales in the US. People were excited about the 500 because they thought a small and presumably “chic” Italian car would make an ideal urban commuter. Then, the reality hits that infrastructure, personal transportation needs, and driver behavior in the US are

Jaguar. They will be cancelling production for ALL VEHICLES for the next year plus. You don’t get more irrelevant than making nothing.

I’ve got to stand up for Buick and Lincoln. They’re not the mainstream’s cup of tea, but here in FL they’re amazing popular (and just right for) the senior crowd. Comfortable, reliable, affordable.

I would probably go with Lancia over Maserati, but I agree with what your saying.  The only Lancia’s left are rebadged Fiat shit-boxes.

Wasn’t the Neon sold as a Dodge AND a Plymouth, and the trim levels were basically identical for both?

Fiat. Who sells them? Who buys them? I hadn’t even thought of them until I saw where another user here said “Fiat” and yep, that brand disappears and nobody will notice, nobody is buying them and I wouldn’t even know where to get one.

I got into a Cadillac Lyriq lease in May, MSRP was a hair over $65k. I ended up with a Sport 1 AWD that was a loaner, so they knocked off $5k from the MSRP. Before even mentioning whether I was leasing or buying we worked out incenvtives, all applied at point of sale, as follows. $2k Customer Cash, $3k Conquest

I’m gonna say Maserati. Who are their vehicles even for? Lets go over the offerings:

Mercury. When was the last time(when they existed) that anyone cared about their cars? Only the German Capri and the bungled (Merkur) XR4ti were even noticed? They were invisible.

Chrysler literally only has a minivan. Like don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty nice minivan, but its still one singular vehicle. (and no, im not counting the Voyager separate from the Pacifica because its literally the same vehicle, just for fleet buyers).

Elio. They are STILL trying to round up orders for their cars. Price is now $14,900, it’s supposed to go 110 mph and go 3 days without charging.

Honestly, I don’t get VW. And I think VW doesn’t get VW either.

Chrysler, there’s no reason for this brand to exists anymore. They only have the aging Pacifica that could easily be sold as a Dodge, and that fossil they call the 300 that is probably already out of production.

How are VW’s crossovers any more boring than anyone else’s? I mean, sure, a crossover is boring, but isn’t that also true of a Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV, Chevrolet Equinox, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, etc. etc.?

Of automakers still selling cars in the US market, my initial thought is Mitsubishi. There were a few years in my career where I ended up at the LA Autoshow every year, and I’ll always remember their sad little booth tucked in a back corner (granted this was like 5+ years ago). I think they may have made some headway

Now there are some interesting and, dare I say it, decent looking parts of this design. But all I see from the front is a 1994 Ram prior to getting a nose job.
