I live in California. I pay less than $2,700 for full coverage insurance for 3 vehicles, one of which is a $168,000 motorhome. One of our vehicles is a PHEV and used very little gasoline. I fill its 7 gallon fuel tank a couple of times a year. I think your methodology is flawed.

I live in Florida and while insurance is expensive I’m not sure where they’re getting that price. I’m paying 3600 for a two vehicles well north of that average price, with two drivers....and it’s not a bargain basement policy.  Sure facts differ but given all the fixed income elderly I’m calling BS, math doesn’t add

I live in SF and totally agree. I donated my car since I had a monthly trans pass for work anyways and I could get anywhere pretty easily, but not necessarily quickly, via MUNI. Taxis were a pain due to supply and demand but with rideshare and zipcar, I essentially never need a personal vehicle. Do I miss it? YUP. I

While I think the Hyundai/Kia EVs has captured a lot of the value segment (meaning folks who want an EV but don’t care about the car as a performance or status symbol), my gut feel is the Maccan EV is going to do real well in the Bay Area.

When did Tesla ever do well with Republicans?  Elon himself has traction with the Right, but Tesla, never.

Given I spend just about $1000/yr for full coverage on my Mercedes wagon in Florida, I find that average number fascinating. I guess it’s good to be an old? There must be a lot of people who are getting absolutely boned on insurance.

Sold my Model Y to buy a Ford Lightning. Our 3 year old Model 3 will be driven for a few more years and then passed on. I guarantee that it will not be replaced by another Tesla. That door closed years ago.

No, you’re not as deluded as he is.  There’s a difference.

That’s because enormous wealth generates even greater wealth. Despite tanking Twitter, and destroying the Tesla brand, these (literal) billions of dollars down the tank amount to a drip in the bucket to his total holdings. He’s an idiot, and yet can’t lose enough money fast enough to put a ding into the overall wealth

Yeah, they love his bullshit, but they’re not going to go out and buy one of his cars because of it.

With our insurance rates, I’m surprised Michigan isn’t on this list...

Ironically the GOP is forcing the US to cede these industries to China because they keep taking money from the oil and gas industry to hold them back. Had the US embraced these industries and renewables decades ago like we should have, the US would be the world leader in them.

Unfair, I don’t think I should have to get what THEY deserve. I don’t deserve an assclown for a president.

I mean, politics is inherently full of s—t, but he harks back to real Boss Tweed, PT Barnum-level nonsense. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad, and explains why people lose billions in fraud and scams every year—there really is a sucker born every minute. I always ask people why Trump consistently loses in NY and

It shouldn’t have to be said, but given the number of Trump voters, I suppose the facts have to be laid out:

The women in his circle the embodiment of the white trash who will vote for him.

This FUD* shit with Trump and the Republicans is really starting to annoy me. They have no vision and only “concepts of plans”, so they need to scare people into voting for them.

I just wish the fucker would die already. Heart attack, stage 5 cancer, whatever. He is a sore on America’s ass. And it absolutely blows me away that somehow the race is close? What in the flying fuck is wrong with people? He is the BEST you can do? And its not just him but all of the other crazy people working for

Drumpf, as incoherent as the drunk at the end of the bar, and happens to be ranting about the exact same topics as the drunk at the end of the bar.

I believe that those are commuter trains that are not in the same league as HSR trainsets. CA is currently in the request for proposal stage, and I am surprised that Brightline is not trying to piggyback on that initiative.
