I love the Fit recommendation. I do love mine.

I have no idea how I missed this post, I’m on here every day.

Our little town has very little crime. The number one crime? Car break-ins when cars are left unlocked. That’s before keys being inside. (Oh and even that’s only 150 or so.)

And I’ve been shopping for a Miata of any generation and see nothing but automatics her in FL.

I’m just here to say how much I like and admire Lewis Hamilton, GOAT.

See if my star worked for you.

I wasn’t clear. I like the Venza. My intention was to point out its commercial disappointment.

Unfortunately, the reliability statistics weigh against them, and that’s from several sources.

While always bulletproof, they’ve had (have) a few clunkers; e.g. last gen Avalon, Venza(s), Busy Forks, and let their vehicles linger too long. It’s very hard to argue against them notwithstanding.

I’d argue for Ferrari. They’ve maintained (well, rekindled post ‘80s and post 458 facelift series) their top of the heap brand magic, and keep creating astonishing automobiles that are beautiful and powerful. Their desirability is untouchable in the marketplace.

Thanks for the advice!

I was astonished to see one here near Clearwater, FL. They are nice looking for what they are.

While true, I lived in NYC for 35 years and have vowed to never get on those subways ever again.

I already intend to drive mine forever.

Saturn Ion for the win. I was so happy my rental was rear ended on the first day I had it. Just altogether awful quality and dynamics.

I loved the first generation, and rented them whenever I could. They were so much fun! But, of course, as rentals.

The 348 and the Mondial were the 9th circle of hell in Ferrari history. Not that weren’t those in circle 6, 7, or 8.

I want one of these, but I’m not handy and they frighten me. I guess there’s a reason they are surprisingly less than other convertibles I’d consider here in Tampa Bay.

On the other hand they still cost 5 figures all these years later, so there’s that.

I could have bought one for $1200 in 1971, but I miscalculated how much money I had. Of course, it likely would have cost many multiples of that price.
