I have no idea, but I wish/hope there is. You shouldn’t be able to put out bold face lies as fact.

And they wonder why Jesus hasn’t come back to hang out with them yet.
They are the troll heroes that we need, not the troll heroes we deserve.
This is honestly the most beautiful case of legal trolling that I have ever witnessed.
Great news. I feel like he had no choice. The Times, with their amazing effort on this series of pieces, essentially came out and said NYC is full of sweat shops masquerading as nail salons. Pretty damning stuff. Kudos to the journalists.
You know Beyonce just lets Rita Ora just drape herself all over her husband and doesn’t say a word because she’s Beyonce, and is not threatened. Nor should she be. Sit down, Rita. God.
This is why I don’t buy the “Hawks fans are fairweather” crap. I grew up in Wisconsin but love Chicago teams. If you has asked me since I was 5 years old I would tell you my favorite team was the Hawks, but I never was able to watch them fucking play. Only recently have Hawks fans been able to come together on a…
ESPN, back in 2006: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/sto…
I’m a Hawks fan, and I’m legitimately shocked at how good we look. We had a really uneven season, where you could see flashes of brilliance, but things never quite came together like you thought they should for any extended period of time. I really thought this series with the Wild was going to be a 7 game thriller,…
Considering the other teams in Chicago, I don’t know where these fuckers came from. They thrive in big games, win when they should win, improve as the season goes on, and are capable of winning even when they’re outplayed (like much of last season’s series against the Kings).
I like Corey Crawford because he’s an athlete I can relate to. He gets drunk and falls down stairs, I get drunk and fall down stairs. We’d have a lot to talk about.
This idea that is it “either NYC or LA or nothing” is just the tribal mindset of the bourgeois educated white person made manifest.
I live in the midwest, and you would be surprised that we also have art scenes and gardens and minority neighborhoods to fret over and food scenes. But every year white people from here flee to either coast and act like its an accomplishment or the only way to live.
Fair.
Do you really want an influx of New Yorkers and Los Angelinos hitting Chicago? Hush and be grateful.
is the new york times aware that like, there’s a whole country between new york and los angeles with plenty of wonderful OTHER places you could live
That’s something I don’t get. There are more places to live than NY and CA. Wonderful places with “culture” and “scenes” and whatever people are after.
There are 48 other states besides CA and Texas. Seriously. Don’t pick CA.
And of course Lenny Kravitz didn’t close out. Trombone Shorty did.
Comparing Jazz Fest to Coachella is frankly insulting to the Jazz Fest. They aren’t even in the same cultural league.
The big acts like Kravitz, Elton John, etc. draw big crowds, of course, but the whole day has fantastic tributes to jazz history and heritage. We owe every single modern musical genre to jazz.
