Wow. Great thoughts going on here. So the one guy they asked for a quote has to represent the Jewish community? That isn't how journalism works. Do you really get paid for this kind of analysis?

Why can you guarantee that?

I wasn't into the opening either, but the rest of the review was really good. Also, the word is "sophomoric."

Sometimes yes, but in this case, not necessarily. I stand corrected.

Or they have a family that they want to live near? Or the school system is good? Or any number of reasons? It is realistic to expect people to teach their children tolerance and respect for others. It is unrealistic to expect people to uproot their lives to do so.

It certainly sounds like you're saying that those who plan to have children have an obligation to raise them somewhere progressive, which is a really unrealistic and classist-seeming idea, in my opinion.

Wow, I didn't even think of that, despite the fact that I'm a carrier for a serious genetic disease. When I started menstruating, I was told by a doctor not to date anyone of Mediterranean heritage, because he would likely be a carrier of the same disease. I can't even imagine how awful it would be if there was a

Oh, come on. Everyone should leave their homes, jobs and families because they feel that their town is racist? Also, maybe they didn't know how bad the problem was until they started raising a black child there.

Now I'm on Wiz's side, because his breakup music is LCD Soundsystem.

To everyone who's saying THEY MUST BE RACIST BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO MOVE: that is some classist, elitist bullshit and you should be ashamed.

You don't abort a fetus, you abort a pregnancy.

I think it's very rare that a serious relationship between two people of such disparate ages (when one is as young as he is, that is) is healthy. If this happens to be one of the good ones, then that's great.

I totally agree... but I can't say I wasn't shocked by the 42-year-old woman engaged to and expecting a child with a 19-year-old. (Though that's not an ugly issue, it's just really terrible.)

Okay, but to my knowledge, some of those people don't think that all crops should be grown in all places. They think that we should not have access to crops that cannot be properly grown in their area/to crops that are out of season.

She specifically says that she does not want to be considered a revolutionary. Who's dehumanizing her if not the one who doesn't even listen to what she's saying?

Sadly, many people actually do think that the answer to domestic violence is that women need to love themselves more, so that one doesn't really sound so ridiculous to me.

Wow, I absolutely cannot imagine being able to do this. I can't even picture it without tearing up. Thank you for doing what many people can't.

This is one of the few workout classes I've heard of that actually sound kinda fun to me.

Yup, couldn't agree more. Even his initial message was, while obnoxious, really not worth putting online for public mockery. He doesn't seem to have bad intentions, so I'm not sure what's so horrible about this.

I thought her response was pretty uninspired, but not so terrible... if it's consensual, I really don't see what the issue is.
