Here in the US, there are thousands of Indian engineers working at OEM’s and suppliers, so it seemed like a good way to not only save cost, but speed up development as multiple groups of people…

I know of companies that initially outsourced their call centers and tech support to India, then brought them back to the US because the poor service and its backlash wasn’t worth it.
