Did you try to get it back? I was hopeful for this as well. I was driving a Metro at the time. I could have gotten away with the limited space as I drive work trucks a lot. Although I emptied my metro once and thee was a ton of shit I kept in there. I work in construction kind of. So you never know what you’ll need…
I’d see the flash through the window and heard the boom. I thought it was either an asshole neighbor setting off a firework or thunder snow. Both of witch had happened before. I was in bed early because we got crappy weather and a head cold.
I’ve been there before, on the side of the road in the cold. Brake caliper kept the wheel from falling off. I had a spare in the Jeep and headed home to get some tools and had it swapped out in about an hour.
Seen in one lane construction traffic.

We host Easter every year at my house for my inlaws side of the family. We may skip that next year and head out west. I haven’t been to EJS (or Moab & off-roading) since ‘05.
