I’m down with all of this accept accept the nonsense about where children come from. I’m not going to get into some conversation about the differences between gender and sex with my 4.5 year old. I’m not going to consider it a “flub” to tell my child that children come from women, because that is exactly what happens.

When I first learned of the concept of “gay” and asked my mother what it meant, she explained it in matter of fact terms with no judgment at all. (“It’s when a man loves a man like I do your father or woman loves a woman like your father does me.”) Since my mother appeared to accept it as normal and commonplace, so

I fully agree here. For all we know it is in this guys head and / or he just has an issue being bossed around by a woman. Maybe he is really annoying. Maybe she’s filtering down orders from her boss. It is hard being a woman in management. Way too many see you as either a pushover or a b-word.

Yeah, we’re really only hearing one side of the story here. Is Barbara really a bitch, or is she just another woman trying to do her job and refusing to take shit from other people or give them special treatment? I’d be interested to know the gender of the letter writer, for starters.

The hatred for Skyler played into the nerd power fantasy, I’m guessing. The shrill harpy stopping the poor, misunderstood genius from being his true, empowered self. That’s catnip for these tools.

Do you realize how many idiots watch Breaking Bad and hate “All the Skylar stuff. She’s slowing down all the fun. Why can’t it just be about the drug game?” Because that’s not what the show is, you morons. I expect these people to come out of a screening of The Wrestler and complain “Not enough wrestling.”

Remember that really stupid bunch of idiots who hated Skylar White and by extension Anna Gunn for daring to stand in the way of Walt? What the fuck, people?

Despite loving the show, I avoid Rick and Morty fandom like the plague. But anecdotally speaking the thing I’ve noticed about people who idolize and defend Walter White and Tony Soprano is that so much of their admiration for those characters has to do very specifically with how they treat women—how certain they are

It reminds me quite a bit of It’s Always Sunny; for a while I lived with a small handful of dudes who wanted to be The Gang, picking analogues in the show for who they felt best represented them, and emulating the various drinking games and habits they exhibited. It entirely baffles me that anyone would watch that

Besides those items listed above...I know I’m in a quality cocktail (or beer) bar when:

Patriarchy is the system under which we live. And everything flows from gender. It’s not about “bonding,” it’s about who has the power (men), and who gets to keep the power (men). White men are at the very top.

And Winona Ryder’s career was derailed because she shoplifted. That’s all it took.

This is just what Los Angeles needs. Another members only clique for people who can afford monstrously expensive classes and I am sure, gold smoothies, vitamin packs and talks about the “toxins” in vaccines.

provide evidence-based classes, results-driven coaching

Christ, the NYer article is so goddamn insufferable.

Loom will provide a “community hub” where members can discus their dearly-held socially liberal beliefs while knowing they are fully protected from undesirable interactions with non-white or economically disadvantaged women.

It’s like we’re all stuck in an abusive relationship clinging to that almost non-existent last shred of hope that this time, this time he “really means it”.

I’m guessing Matt Lauer, despite his namby pamby attempts to get O’Reilly to “apologize” doesn’t actually think Bill did anything wrong. Just like the sportscasters who covered Kobe Bryant giving an apology ring to his wife after the rape charges against him were dropped. He triumphed over that whore they implied and

I’m just here to remind you of the amazing xmas track 3lw has for your holiday needs.
