I totally agree. I hate when people use that word to describe women. Totally unnecessary.

without resorting to gendered slurs

I am completely and utterly amused that they’re bothered by her calling Ivanka a cunt but not by this: “Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to fuckin’ stop it.”

Also, her mother is something of an expert in this area.

Chelsea is a master of the unfailingly polite “fuck you.” She’s kind of my hero.

Thinking of all the problems with racism we are currently facing and choosing to expend energy on...let me see now...yeah, I think this is the best decision...David Cross.

How? Cera was there, they were dating, Cross believed that Yi would have confided in Cera that she was upset.

“Gonna be honest—if you find yourself constantly having to explain to people that despite what they just heard you say,”

But that’s not what’s happening. People are continually calling him racist based on one incident, reported years after the fact, that they lack all the information on, that they don’t have film or

Great interview. Always cool to hear his thoughts.

Also it’s interesting to see both him and Sarah Silverman both expressing things about having conversations play out in public before any attempt to handle them privately. Which, depending on the context/specific issue, is a valid thing to think about.

And perhaps we also need to realize that comeuppance doesn’t mean “forced to live inside a storm drain under a bridge” for the rest of one’s life.

“And it’s wild to me that even after several women come forward with allegations against Franken or C.K., Silverman struggles to consider if the allegations are serious enough to deny them the right to do their job in the exact same space where they were just groping women not so long ago.”

I don’t see any reason why they can’t continue being artists. Now, whether they’re popular artists or not is up to the audience.

I’ve worked in bars long enough to know two things: People are assholes and Drunk people are even worse assholes. I’ve seen numerous men and women be the ones to throw the first punch. Oddly enough women were the ones more likely to attack a bouncer rather than another patron.

What isn’t going to kill us? I mean, I get cigarettes are absolutely worth avoiding, but who the hell can keep up with everything else that is gonna give us cancer or dementia or a disease that will make us grow unicorn horns?

The benefits of regular (non sugar laden) coffee consumption have been well documented. I’m not a researcher in this, but I imagine that these benefits will outweigh the potential risks in this. Or, if you’re really concerned, eat less dark brown toast. Drink more coffee.

Whoever did her animation did a fantastic job. There was some great, subtle performing throughout her appearances.

This is a really great piece! It looks like you put a lot of time into it—I’d be curious to know how much if you’re willing to say—and it paid off. Great job.

I really appreciate that you took the time to parse out the nuance and complexity evident in Faith’s character. She really is trying to be all things to all people—but I stop short of according her the level of sympathy you’re showing here, for three reasons:

First and foremost, even if she’s now clean, she’s actively

I feel like she is the winner here. The journalist who criticized her are coming off as obsequious to power, craven and , worst of all, wrong on the facts. Maggie Haberman and Mika Brezinski are getting hammered for falsely claiming that Wolf insulted SHS looks (as opposed to her lies).

It’s fucking scary, and because it’s women sounding the alarm, it will be largely ignored.
