ED will soon enough. Maybe even before NMS is released.

The game you are looking for is Elite:Dangerous.
Walking games don’t break the immersion any more then playing them on a flatscreen does. That is to say, it is far more immersive - not total immersion, but more so then without it.
I could honestly see this branch out into a strategy game for pc or something like Xcom
Players can win matches in even the most p2w games, if they are playing against brain-dead noobs.
Star Citizen is coming together just as fast as any MMO before it
If that’s not progress, then what is?
Do you consider the deathmatch shooter known as Arena Commander to be Star Citizen? I don’t - Star Citizen was pitched as a deep cinematic open world space simulator, not a shallow pay-to-win arcade battle arena.
No one is playing Star Citizen.
They said the same thing about Duke Nukem Forever.
Deathmatch is far from fresh or unique. I don’t care if if you tweak the jumping a little.
Before Mirrors Edge, my previous favorite FPS was Urban Terror, a game that mixed realistic gunplay with parkour style trick jumping. ME was more immersive, but what I really wanted out of the game was multiplayer freerunning deathmatch...
Optional, yes. Something I opted to do at every opertunity. The reboot has limited options. I for one, am not interested in playing a watered down remake.
This is lame. I hate when a game series totally changes genres. The first Mirror’s Edge was my favorite FPS of it’s generation - it is not really a FPS if you can’t shoot anyone tho. I guess I will be skipping the reboot.
Host? We call that Corp-goth here.
What? Why? It would be just like Elder Scrolls Online, but with guns. What’s not to love about that!?
I am hoping for the first expansion pack for Elite:Dangerous.
You misspelled “Best” - and I am pretty sure Jack Carver is in fact the Jackal.
Tried the game - its ok, I guess. It is not as deep as Avenger’s Alliance.
