I really wouldn't call Wipeout and other competitive games "The Hardest and most exciting games in the world" I mean I know some young kids that are pretty badass at some of these games, so I don't think it's 'that' hard.

And whoa whoa, you seriously bought SoC for the PS3, twice? Ummm, alright? You do know that you could've just played the PS2 version on the PS3 right? I don't really see why you're complaining of paying 50 bucks for a full year of PS Plus, yet you bought a game basically twice, for what? Some somewhat better HD

The length of the single player campaign in Killzone 2 is the reason I skipped Killzone 3. I didn't buy a game called Killzone to cry over some tragic character study in a deconstruction of the genre laden with dramatic moments and cinematics.

I bought it to fucking kill shit. In some sort of zone. Of killing.

What I

... What does your ranking have to do with anything?

AKA new 52 superman? I think he wears Docs, not Cons.

That is a big if - and given Sony's history of restricting features instead of expanding them, it is not one I am willing to bet on.

It is a step back. Between this, lack of backwards compatability, and the online pay gate, it seems Sony is actively attempting to dissuade me from purchasing a playstation system this generation.

Wipeout HD is one of the all time highest rated PS3 exclusives. It is also one of the most unique playstation games; almost all higher rated games are shooters (which are nearly universally better better on pc), or platformers (which I have absolutely no interest in).

The 'futuristic racing game' genre is extremely

Paying 60$ for 50 something games, most of which I already own.

And are any of those games a new Wipeout? No? Ok then. I'm not interested in the slightest.

A pay gate for online multiplayer is a deal breaker for me. I will not be buying a PS4 at all, no matter what.

Not that I was very interested anyway; the only reason I have ever purchased a Playstation has been Wipeout, and as Sony dissolved Studio Liverpool, developer of Wipeout, there is a slim chance there will be a

That was the thing I liked most about the TV show Birds of Prey; Dina Meyer's portrayal of Batgirl as emotionally scarred. Easily the best episode in the entire sieries was the one where she tried to put the costume on again...

Funny, because my workstation plays games just fine.

Ha. I do have a rather ostentatious writing style. Reviews of my work tend to range from "5/5 can make anything sound like an epic life and death struggle", to "1/5 overly dramatic".

Anyway, back on topic. It totally goes away over time. Neural pathways fade and are overwritten. As my Sifu used to say "Use it or lose

Role playing games are simulations of real life. The first roleplaying game, 'Dungeons and Dragons', was based on a tabletop miniatures game called 'Chain Mail'. The first Table top miniatures game, 'Kriegsspiel', was invented by the Prussian military to train their officers for combat. Tabletop miniatures were at the

But they didnt turn to shit until they were ported to consoles.

Since you are talking multiplayer lets compare the console version of Battlefield 3 to the PC version of Battlefield 3. Console version has multiplayer maps that are capped at 24 players. The PC version has the exact same maps, except they are 4 times as big and capped at 64 players.

That is typical of the differences

Could you bother to back this up with some actual numbers? Your average Daggerfall save file is less than 1MB

Morrowind actually had a lot more level design to it beyond randomly generated areas.

You are wrong. Morrowind was created using the exact same type of procedural generation algorithm as Daggerfall. The difference is the map in Morrowind was pre-baked by Bethesda and shipped with the game, while the map in Daggerfall was generated at runtime and would dynamically change with every playthrough.
