I am going in the other direction. I started as a tabletop / pen and paper game player; I own 5 warhammer 40k armies; tyranids, elder, tau, chaos space marines, and imperial guard cultists; and not small armies, I have a full company of chaos space marines, with supporting vehicles. Every figure in my Tau army is

There is room for both; the issue arises from selling a second style of game as a direct sequel to the first. Dawn of war 2 should have been an upgraded version of dawn of war 1, with better graphics and more units. Then they should have spun off a killteam type game as a standalone title and put all their new ideas

That would be so cold.

Lets hope they return to their roots and go for a more DoW1 style game. DoW2 disappointed a lot of fans...

The only thing I hate more then traditional JRPG combat, are traditional JRPG minigames. I want features that add depth to the core gameplay experience, not tacked on gimmicks that are only used as a brief diversion.

No mention of Gunm? Battle Angel Alita basically stopped being produced for a whole year because the publisher did not want the author to use the word 'psycho' in a reprint of a 20 year old comic, when describing BRAIN EATING CYBORGS, WHO WERE IN FACT PSYCHOTIC.

The studio would want Master Chief to take his helmet off.

Clearly it was, because nowhere else does it say anything even close to "powers that put people to sleep is down to earth combat".

How about powers that put people to sleep? And even if you thought you needed to have good old gunplay, why not have more down-to-earth combat?

Yeah, it seems a case of two wrongs don't make a right.

Cosplay; the mixture of socially inept guys, and girls dressed in hypersexualized costumes that were designed by socially inept guys.

I try to be objective as well in terms of consumer lifestyle, but I come down hard on the side of Science in any debate involving Technology v.s Magic.

not just tech;

If consoles die out then something even worse then the pc/console war happens; we start fighting about pc operating systems.

Your font is extremely hard to read...

NO ONE SAID POWERS WERE DRUGS

That was the first game that ever made me cry.
