It’ll survive the apocalypse, but it won’t survive the “wife despises the styling” factor.

Relative to what? If we compare the Alpina at 2400 lbs c to the svelte Lotus Elise that barely tipped the scales at 1600lbs, the Alpina comes off as downright obese and if it’s 200lbs that seperates the C8 from a 488GTB I don’t see that as an impassable chasm.

I love that the first picture is 1/2 sky.

Bro.  We get it.  You don’t like Corvettes.  You don’t have to be the first poster on every Corvette article giving us another reason why you hate Corvettes.

I don’t think anyone disputes the advantage in breathing at high revs for DOHC.  It’s odd there are still those disputing the size, weight, and simplicity advantages of the OHV SBC.

First time I hear it’s because of the resale. Thought the beige/gold and silver are mainly because they don’t look dirty even if they are.

That is a pretty interesting way to look at it. A 400K M-car is far more of a unicorn than a million-mile Lexus.

I will Rev the V12 tommorow on my way to Costco to get gas. No need to piss off the neighbors at 10 at night

Is it a little ironic they chose the M4 for “Heritage” considering the M4 name was just invented out of thin air a few years ago?

Did you just hear that? That crack that echoed like a gunshot through the mountains, scattering the birds?

AWD is the only thing keeping me from buying a Mazda 6 Grand Touring reserve. Once that comes along, in I get and I won’t look back.

I really didn’t like the creased design language, which made the cars look, to me, cheap and harsh. It sort of peaked with the GLK, then Merc wisely decided to soften things... a lot. Not all of it works, but I think the current C-class coupe is one of the prettiest cars out there right now.

I believe that Hotblack Desiato may be looking for a new ride, as his old one was stolen at the Restaurant at the End of the universe.

This thing is $60k. You want a $200k for $60k?
