@CoachHandsome: Have I told you yet how much I love your handle?
@Innings Eater: Right. But I mean how easy is it to figure out what goes into OPS? And now compare that to the QB rating formula. Makes my head spin.
Whether or not Ryan should be the front-runner, I never understood why sports fans so readily accept QB Rating as a viable statistic but bristle at the idea of OPS.
We have a non sports loving female roommate. And given the amount of sports she has been forced to watch these days, we gave her the remote control tonight.
@Da_Mang: Did you watch the game? VT was getting pressure on Ryan without rushing more than 4 guys routinely. They didn't really change their scheme all that much in the last 2 drives (although you can argue they should've). I think their D Line just plain ran out of gas. Ryan's not a fast guy but he was able to…
@The Seaward (nee Tocchets Bookie): Not saying ASU's win isn't more impressive (eye of the beholder, I guess) but VT was the home team, Vegas favorite and ranked #8 in the country while Cal was none of those.
@BigRicks: Whoa hey hold on. If you still have access to that ticket and want to help out a member of the Underground, please let me know.
@BDoc: That's too bad Ryan doesn't remember it because he probably doesn't remember returning to the field and leading BC to a come from behind win at Clemson.
@CoachHandsome: I hugged and jumped up and down with D Knight.
@Yinka Double Dare: Glennon actually had a good game last night. For 56 minutes, he was the better QB on the field.
@DukeDavis: Well put. Doesn't faze me, though. I was at the one bar in Boston that gave BC center stage instead of the WS last night.
@chilltown: b0mberMan
Come on Will,
@Veronica Mars: Alumni Gamewatch is still on at The Place. It'll be around but.... the downside is you have to go to The Place.
For all the genius talk about Weiss, people forget he was twice relieved of play-calling duties with the Pats and Giants.
@Charles: Exactly. Didn't all Jags say was that BC has a senior-laden team that has played very well on the road in their 4 years on the team? I don't see why that's a disrespectful thing to say.
Weiss has a 5-star LB recruit stuffed down his pants
@FThat: V Tech: 13-2 on Thursday nights. Those 2 losses? Boston College.
@TotalBS: Are you sure that'd be shorter?
