I don’t mind. I’m still trying to beat the first one. The games never ending. 

They know there have been enough layoffs in the industry. They can shit on their employees and expect them to stay.

Take as long as you need to make it as good (better even?) as the first one. Hollow Night was an amazing game. The last thing they need to do is rush out something half baked to meet a deadline. By now we’ve all seen what that results in.

Did we play the same game? HK had some of the best music. Dung Defender fight and Queen’s Garden being my two favorite tracks. 

This is my fear now as well, especially given that twitter comment. I loved Hollow Knight, but that game was massive and probably could have been just as good, if not better, with a little refinement and cutting down of the map size.

Hopefully they're not making it too big. 10-15 hours is really the sweet spot for metroidvanias imo.
