Cthulhu influenced stuff is expected in almost every piece of horror nowadays - and rarely done to full effect.

I would have loved a haunted chateau shooting gallery. Like, half competetive, half co-op mode: You and 2-3 other players walk a path through the chateau with 2D shooting galery enemies popping out along the way (thus guiding you through it). Finishing in a big 2D ‘boss battle’ on the terrace. Whomever has the most

While skipping through this list I got the nagging feeling I’m getting too old for about 90% of Anime. I don’t want to spoil this hobby for anyone, but I guess 90s and early 2000 Animes had too much of an impact on me to care about moe, slice of life and drama. I know the industry needs to cater to fans to survive,

I would like to know if you would recommend the game for someone who has never played a Mario Party game. Is it easy enough to get into if you usually don’t play videogames? The Switch has become kind of an entertainment center for my friends, none of who own a gaming system.

Oooh, a new Tales! For... mobile? Nope, thanks.

Those guys can publish whatever they want. After the Yakuza games I’ll always be there for the ride.

That’s obviously a new Samurai Shodown or Last Blade in the vein of BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, right? RIGHT???

This looks so much like Desitiny I got a headache.

That’s fine. I’ll play it for the story, quest designs and world, not the controls. Guess in a solid RPG I can be very forgiving of cluncky mechanics.

For me it’s Far Cry 3. I got it on PS4 after asking myself why I never finished it on the 360. Turns out I had a reason: After about 15 to 20 minutes the tutorial forces you to kill two pigs (?) and skin them to upgrade your equipment.

This piece has transcended the usual review and became a passion piece. Which is not a bad thing, I love the series as well and am eagerly awaiting the release of DQ 11.

This looks great and only hightened my interest. But man, that commentator sounded pretty dull.

When’s GamerCat coming baaaa—- wuuuuuut???

As someone who ignores all things online except Overwatch and Co-Op, my biggest problem with H5 was its narrative. There were so many confusing location jumps and all that name dropping going on that I still have no clue how the story unfolded.

I’ve been playing the game on and off since Burning Crusade but never really got all the mechanics. I.e. I think my Paladin never got any runes attached, I don’t have a clue where I get some basics everyone should have and don’t get me started about cities and portals. Without quest markers I’m lost. On level 101 I

Or you get an Ouya. That thing might have flopped in everything it set out to do but by God is it a great little cube for 8 and 16bit emulation.

Meeeh... why not Guilty Gear? This would be an obvious choice, I thought.

I’m interested but have to say ‘Akito the Exiled’ was severely lacking in making the characters sympathetic. I’ve seen the OVA twice now and still have no idea what’s going on there.

Disney Infinity may have failed, but their figurines looked pretty amazing. In my opinion far better than those shitty funko pop designs with their dead eyes. Nenodroids are better, but I dislike the proportions.

After liking Arrival and loving Blade Runner 2047, I’m very, very excited to see what Villeneuve will pull off this time.
