Honest question. What was better about the Bush admins? They brought us into wars and the surveillance state. I think Trump was a much more centrist president than he’s given credit for. Much of what he pitched was democrat ideology a decade prior.

Thank you for being probably the first person in quite awhile around here to write an opinion on US policy/politics without stomping their feet like a child or flinging boogers at “the other side” of some imaginary divide...deciding the value of a person based on their perception of them.

I was a registered Republican for decades. When the Republican Party nominated Trump, I changed my registration to independent (well, unenrolled here in MA, since there is a party called Independent). I despise Trump and I hate that the Republican Party enabled him.

When someone professes they’re learned and well-traveled you immediately know the contrary is true.
