Would excessive speeding like this be reduced if all speed limits were based on some sort of scientifically-based actual safe traveling speed, rather than having areas of arbitrary reduced limits, seemingly for no reason other than revenue generation?

I’m not gonna take a side on property rights in incorporated areas right this moment but I will applaud you for not being a hypocrite. Kudos. If you want to take the ultra libertarian view of “property rights should be absolute” I might not agree but if you’re willing to die on that hill I’ll never say you’re wrong.

It’s a Bantam Jeep shirt...

John lives in PA, home of Butler, the town where the Jeep (first designed by Bantam) was born.

As pointed out in an article long ago (I think when the Kia was stuck in the backyard mud pit) the landlord's extremely okay with what David is doing because it reminds him of India.

“Hellish" Lmao.

Big difference. David’s cars are just sitting there for the most part. They are literally doing nothing, you just think they are unattractive to look at for some reason. Cows stink, attract flies, and make noise. They would thus be infringing on me in a way an unregistered car is not. So there is your line.

Im not sure you’re clutching your pearls tightly enough. Please understand that semi-abandoned jeeps are not the limit of terror.

So don’t look. I am a big believer in “a man’s home is his castle”. You bought the thing, you pay the taxes, do whatever if it isn’t hurting anyone else. One man’s eyesore is another man’s treasure. It’s not anyone else’s business. If you want other people all up in your business, or want control over others, buy a

I keep being surprised at all the bougie prudes on this site who apparently feel the need to give a goddamn what their neighbors do and how they keep their yard. But I shouldn’t be. Most of you bitching aren’t about that life with grease under your fingernails and gasoline in your veins. You’re desk jockeys who write

Your neighbor sounds entirely too reasonable and level-headed. If he’s ever looking to move lemme know, couple of nice properties for sale on my block.

None of those things are remotely exclusive to vehicles. Animals will find ways to make home anywhere they want to be. It’s just more nosey BS from people who can’t live and let live.

Neighbor #1 has such a refreshingly positive attitude. The world needs more nice old folks like him.

I’m smirking a bit at all the comments chastising you for the state of your property.

We have very different ideas of "hellish" conditions.

Wouldn’t bother me much. I’d probably be over there helping.

I had to ditch my Regal because of the trunk. It couldn’t even hold golf clubs! It’s a Buick! Like, for old people! And Buick sponsors golf!

Jaguars have always had a whiff of drivers cars about them, even in the 70’s and 80’s.

i used to think jags were for elegant old people who had someone drive their car for them. but when they ditched the long car with longer bumper aesthetic to the boxy, square, sporty design philosophy they embody today, i love almost everything they make.

If you’re luck most of the buttons you’d normally use will be burned into the screen before it goes kaput.

This is what I do. When you start moving, the wind will cool down the car significantly. When the AC starts to cool down, I close my windows and let the AC do the rest of the work. It only takes about 30 seconds before that happens, so I'm usually not even out of my work's driveway before I am closing my windows.
