Huh, thanks for the tip on this one. I’m a little (very?) jaded when it comes to fantasy anime. I want to like them, cause fantasy is one of my very favorite mediums, but I’m so often disappointed with generic crap that I don’t even give these shows a try.
Holy shit how many times can I possibly misread an article?? I think finals fried my brain.
Yeah I did so, this was actually a draft that I published in advance because I knew I wouldn’t have time during my final exams. I fixed everything now... hahah
Yeah I loved this ending. I looked up the artist, but saw Kalafina’s name because she did the second opening and I’m like ‘I know that artist wow must be her.” Whoops.
Wait, we’re supposed to skip the first two episodes? That seems weird.
This is probably still my favorite opening ever, quality + nostalgia is a strong combination.
Don’t know jack about God Eater but I’m going to watch it because UFOTable.
Well... There is definitely still yeeart, but not as much it seems? Haha, I’d watch episode 3 then make a judgment call.
I can’t say really since that was just a rumor I heard. Anyway, that’s great that they’re in English, I’ll probably pick those up sometime soon.
Wish this show would get a second season UGH. I heard this studio is famous for making a single season just to tease people into buying the source material though... Which sucks because I don’t think the Light Novels are even out in English.
Bell’s Face tho
If you like stuff like Log Horizon, there's a new show streaming on CR this season called Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon? It's pretty funny so far, it's a more lighthearted fantasy
And this situation reminds me HEAVILY of Code Geass in that way...
First of all, I applaud you, I think this was a fantastic idea. Really excellent way to bring in new people. I only started contributing articles in the last month myself, and I was kinda lost at first, so I think this is a really great way to introduce new authors! For myself, I'd be interested in writing in writing…
Any complaints I might have had about its episodic nature were squashed after episode 9. It was so moving that I was suddenly glad that there were so many individual stories.
I only watch about 5 shows a season, yeah same. hahah
Same, I was trying desperately to find one and only got badly looped versions :'(
I absolutely love every scene where that happens. I had his derp face as my facebook profile pic for a good three months
I absolutely LOVE Yoko Kanno's composing work, second behind only Hiroyuki Sawano in my eyes. The entire soundtrack to this show was just masterful, and added a LOT of emotion to a bunch of relatively one dimensional characters. TOO GOOD
So this is your way of sharing some of your favorite music, probably more of the obscure stuff that people don't know about? I like it, sign me up.
