Many women experience sexism within the gaming community constantly. To them, it's not just a few dicks on the internet, its a bad part of gaming culture. I haven't experienced this because I'm a guy, and I don't have the experience of being a woman who plays or makes games.

Unfortunately, or fortunately for the feminist movement, people tend to agree with the idea of not treating a class of people like crap because they are part of that class. Golden rule applies here.

tl:dr: Guys, also do something about the sexism in video game culture and game development.

The blame for harassment lies with women?

Anyone else tapped the snare part?

But that's not a preventative measure. Videos that are fair use tend to be claimed as such only after being taken down. There's no process to proactively claim fair use on content.

Fair use isn't a preventative measure. You claim fair use after Crecente's Youtube account has been taken down with the DMCA, not before. This is the way the DMCA was written.

I apologize, but how is using pepper spray against the most passive members of the protest effective in clearing the encampment? Why break the proper procedure (e.g. appropriate distance to target) for using pepper spray against nonmoving targets?

Was violence perpetrated by a significant part of the protesters? What is a peaceful protest if not a protest with the absence of violence?

It's fortunate the internet doesn't require listening to them.

First, this seems to me like public posturing. I would love to see hard numbers, but I'm just a random dude on the internet, so I don't expect any.

"Yo, dawg, I used to be the most interesting man in the world in all your base, the man your man could be, Leerooooooooooy Jenkins, until I took an arrow in the knee while forming babby."

The rough picture or the unreleased game that's in beta?

That PEP gun was un Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I didn't use it much, though.
