Your comment seems to suggest that a woman who has this kind of coverage must be pandering and cannot genuinely enjoy this kind of games cosplay. Put simply, somewhat famous = cannot genuinely enjoy video game cosplay with an edge of sexiness = only pandering to viewers.

Mad at yourself, or your best friend?

Holy crap, is that Lisa Foiles?

Fuck, man. I'm too scared to even start Amnesia.

:O

Wow, Rachel Maddow is an old-school gamer. That's pretty awesome.

Tetris maybe?

This guy sure is excited about servers. Good thing, too. These kinds of engineers make our multiplayer games as lag-free as possible.

That's focusing on only this side of law-detection that is given press. Israel uses behavioural profiling to detect possible attacks at airports and are pretty successful in doing so. Granted, it's not lie-detection proper, but it's at least its close cousin.

I think you just admitted that gaming culture is discriminatory while accusing discrimination about another person saying the same thing. I think you meant "It doesn't run JUST through 'gaming culture'".

Dittoing Zigzagoon's comment.

Those who need to hear this probably willingly won't.

Haha, me too. I just had to listen to the entire song.

I'm betting Blizzard is going to disavow what this guy says and never hire that band again.

I always liked the idea that saying something is impossible makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Exactly. I experienced that immersion break in Uncharted and Fahrenheit both and get frustrated when I fail and don't know why.

"Gut Check is an off-the-cuff impression of what we think of a game: what we'd tell a friend; how we'd respond on Twitter or Facebook or over a beer if someone asked us 'Would you buy this game?'"

I think a big part of the problem was the expectation of what the review was. People who responded negatively didn't expect an 8/10 and I suspect most didn't even read the review. It's not a standard review in that it doesn't only cover the basics (gameplay, performance, story, controls, etc), but goes a bit deeper,

I think the logic that the trolls use is that 7 is closer to 0 than 10 is to infinity.

"I'd rather read a thousand words about why someone didn't like Uncharted 3, so long as the author's building a proper case, rather than trolling fans. In Parkin's review, he outlines a grand critique against the Uncharted series as a whole, written through the lens of its latest release, and makes a credible argument
