Here's a weird tip I heard recently. A right-handed person almost always has a desk whose right side is clean and left side is messy. A left-handed person is 50/50 on the clean side and messy side. I've only seen a few desks, but all of them fit this pattern. As for my desk, it's almost always all clean.

X axis: Time, Y axis: WTF-ness. Graph: x^4

Damn, those are some nice clothes. If only they sold augmentations, I'd totally get in on some stabbin' arm-blade action.

Yeah, load time is one aspect among some that are tweaked in the final stages of production.

Ars Technica pegged it at around 25 hrs/playthrough.

I agree with you on all counts. Hopefully Bioware (EA's RPG devision, not just the individual studios themselves) learned from DA2.

I agree, but then again, I dislike the hyperbole a lot of reporting is based on. In the media, a company is only doing well if they're growing at an exponential rate, their products are dominating the marketplace and when new products launch, they're runaway successes. Anything else means they're doomed.

I disagree. Comparison will always take away from a game being judged on its own merits. No other creative works compare to the extent games do and are reminiscent of gadget comparison (killer as a suffix, anyone?), not creative works.

I think it's a good thing to bring publicity to the stupid shrink-wrap agreements and licenses we all have to agree to without reading them. Just today, I agreed to 4 TOSs/licenses that I didn't read.

Nope. They'll lose out on the bad publicity that follows. Companies are very touchy with their public image, just look at the ads that BP and oil companies buy to make you hate them a little less.

Nope, their stock is gone and the link doesn't work. Just checked.

Aw, man, that's a shame, the DLC was pretty great.

We still don't know yet; the game's not out, but there's a lot of awesome animation in BF3, so I'm not discounting that screengrab yet.

No, Crecente, you don't look like you might go The Shining on us, don't worry.

They drop and are craftable in-game, so you can have both!

I think you do. I think BF3 will use Origin as the main conduit for DLC.

You should try Bastion; it's an awesome game that doesn't take too long to finish and is satisfying all the way to the end.

That's too bad; Red Dead had a really good ending.

Yeah, I know, but I was going for the alpha look not being a good marketing push this far back. I'm excited for this game anyway, it sounds like it'll have a lot of the freedom that the original Deus Ex had.

If they wanted to promote the game, they shouldn't have released screen #2. The shadows and textures look horrible.
