I think most developers know that DRM can’t prevent piracy, but they want to delay the inevitable as long as possible because most of the game’s sales will be within the first few months of launch.

It is DRM because a lot of the games you download need Steam to run. If it wasn’t DRM, I could run say Skyrim without Steam (as in, it doesn’t need to be installed on my computer).

The only way I think we’ll ever get to the ambitious 2C or less mark is if we drastically change the way we live by 2050. Unfortunately any attempt to do that outside of the EU seems to be a case of either “idgaf” or “ur political party supports this hippie bs so im not gunna bother”.

At first I questioned why on the NVIDIA side was minimum spec an i5-3470 while the AMD side was an FX-6300. As far as games were concerned, the i5-3470 would smoke the FX-6300
