Unfortunately my first car, a $600 front end wreck of a 99 Saturn SL Stick one day decided that it no longer wished to have anything to do with keeping the hood down. The triple team of rope, Bungie cord and duct tape all simultaneously gave up and failing hood latch finally failed. So here I am flying down the road…
