Part of the problem is that matches go for a very long time, and if someone is playing poorly it is actively making the other team better. That tends to ruffle feathers a lot more easily. You should play more JRPGs/ watch more anime if you thought you would get to use Flynn, he is the main character's FOIL, and as a rule, you never get to use them because they need to be able to drive the plot and contrast the actions of the main character and his party.
