I know how extroverts work. They like to talk a lot and extend themselves. They build energy and confidence through volume of interaction. I know how to deal with them. If I'm interacting with one, I take time to tailor how I normally talk and behave to make things go smoothly.

Yeah, when you've come across enough people who treat introverts like they aren't normal and aren't deserving, you tend to see those judgements apply perfectly to the one making them.
