Note that ZoomPlayer has something similar integrated, with links pointing to its homepage where you can download the needed codec. Probably not as good, but it does its work :)

Use the advantage of screens being wider than high and place your friggin' taskbar on the left. It's useful on normal screens but even more valuable on widescreen notebooks. Lifehacker for example only needs 1024px in width, so it's a complete waste of space if it's wider. Not having a taskbar on bottom or top however…

Could anyone host the extension used for macs? Sure an extension can contain platform specific stuff, but they probably solved it differently. I'm not a fan of installing a stupid .exe that's messing with my browsers if it can be done via an extension as well. I don't use crappy IE anyway so I don't care for it.

MusicIP Mixer is the so far best duplicate finder although it takes ages to process your files so it would be quite an overkill if you just want to find dublicates.

I keep this file in an empty folder making it seem like it contained content before but is now a leftover due to an incomplete uninstall.

Nah, it's not very secure. You can't access the file, but I've some programs (e.g. defragging software) can access and move these files one by one somehow. They're not encrypted.

If you actually want to get rid of things and put a "free" sign on them (like... a sofa or so, not though when having your backyard sale day) and it will stay for days. Put a "30€" sign on it and it will be gone over night.
