Too bad you were so eager to stick it to "the man" and went with a cheap OS like Linux

How irresponsible of the author to promote fighting for something replaceable. Then there's the idiot with the comment about "being a doormat". It's called CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES! You put your foot down at getting downgraded at the rental car place. Not to a person waiving a gun in your face.

Of all the snobby things I have ever read THIS has got to be the snobbiest.

This is EXACTLY what I need today for problems with my Captivates sound going out! Thanks so much

@Eltigro: Ok cause I was worried cause when I flip the switch 20 seconds later the dog barks and then darkness disappears. Thanks for the explanation.

@Eltigro: Is it dangerous (fire hazard)? My bedroom light does that. I changed the switch myself as a first time job. Never thought anything of it.

@Stem_Sell: Nerd jokes rock, thanks guys.

@Zinger314: I fell ya' bro. Keep fighting the good fight

@Chris Patterson: Agreed, iPhone fans are louder than fans of the enviroment complaining about the oil spill. Oh well, empty can rattles the most.

UPDATE: It's not doing what Apple said it wouldn't do!

When did people start using this "cloud" term? All of a sudden I hear it everywhere I go when referring to an OTA network.

Mel Gibson?

@Tyrunn: This is the most hilarious thing I have read all day. It's like that modeling agency guy that has to be at gym in 26 minutes (forgot his name) but on Gizmodo instead of a Gawker article. Good stuff!!

OMG I was JUST playing around with Apple's SDK and downloaded Android's SDK last night. I deleted it all realizing I didn't know what I was doing. Too funny that this showed up today. Can't wait to get home!!

@Odin: To even further explain, yes I've read about exploding batteries and read the Snopes you did. I just don't see the iPhone data you are reporting on.

@Odin: That's awesome and all as far as Nokia and all that. I'm just curious about the iPhone results. You were pretty certain about the problem but no details. I'm very interested to read that

@Odin: " It's generally to do with bad batteries more than anything. "

I'd rather pay $30.00 and know my card number is safe.
