its a business, it has to care about money as it owes that to people who are invested in it. why is that surprising? as for this whole charity thing, it seems to do well. it even matches its employee donations dollar for dollar.

umm how is corruption, incompetence and inefficiency the company’s fault? the 1$ taken was paid back in 1$ of tax. you want apple or any other company to set off the damage for the elected govt’s incompetency as well. suuuureee

i am not sure how you came up with that majority who lives in SF. most folks working at companies like apple or google etc, live within south bay not san francisco. You cannot throw a stone in cupertino/sunnyvale/campbell/san jose without hitting an apple employee. and these are the ‘highly paid’ techies.
