The worst part is that we (Canadians) have given telecoms public dollars to improve infrastructure. They did some rudimentary upgrades that didn't change too much, left their pricing models the same, blamed power users for slow service, and called it a day.

This is how my games usually end...

The NES controller did something that the console really required of a controller. It was nearly impossible to break. This was handy for me because many of the games were bloody hard and that little brick would often be tossed onto the floor in frustration on a regular basis.

On borrowing games: Don't forget that if you want to bring the latest "SuperFunGame VI Extreme Fun Edition" over to a friend's house for a night of gaming you will now have to bring your console with you as well.

Toulouse is pretty good but I usually suggest new players start in Ireland. I have only rarely seen the AI try to take Ireland from the outside until very late game so it ends up being almost a small world in itself and is very forgiving.
