The point he is making is that Porsche vehicles are only available in EA games unless the developer makes a deal with EA to use them. RUF is how GT5 and Forza4 get around the restriction but there are still no "Porsche" cars in either of these games because of this restriction.

This is what I thought right after reading the article. If EA wins this then it means that their exclusive rights to the Porsche vehicles should also be in question.
