@Shin-GO: It is a shame that publishers don't take the time to create these anymore. My favorites were Civilization II and Age of Empires II.

@P45K4L: Civilization II Gold's manual was more of a small history text book. NASCAR 2 50th anniversary edition had a similar manual that detailed driving and tuning techniques.

@RawSteelUT: I loved rad racer though.

@CandlejackDANZA: I think we can also say that the game is actually really fun and getting fairly polished now.

@Rawrnosaurous: I still own a game gear. Last month I even turned the thing on just to see if it still functioned after all these years (the answer was yes so I played some sonic 2).

@newgalactic: Sins of a Solar Empire is also fairly new but to be honest good space games (sim/rts) are few and far between these days. I'm holding out some hope for Jumpgate Evolution but It's hard to have a positive outlook considering the last 3 MMOs I tried were released months before they were ready and tanked…

@ViralG: Although those are all valid points that do definatly help the system I think iOS has caught on for gaming for one major reason. Lots of people have them on their person at all times. Less so with the ipod touch and more so with the iphone.

@Southpaws_ITF: There is a very short list of animals that I outright hate. That dog makes the list with ease.

@Sunfire-: Exactly. In the middle of an incident I would either be looking to reduce the amount of harm done to me and other cars around me or (hopefully not) petrified with fear. Not writing down plate numbers.

I'll probably wait till the second generation of the handheld before I consider it. If the system is completely region locked with no workaround I probably won't bother.

@SP-Butters: I knew the day would come when some developer would create a title that would force me to buy a wii.

@karoc: Considering how lackluster the PSP lineup was for the first 2 years after launch I'm in the same boat as Stealth_Chill. Sure there are lots of good games now but long before they started being released my PSP was completely demoted to playing NES roms.

I have learned to always assume that anything I hear about a Sony product prior to launch day is a lie. I will believe this when I see it.
