@shea_guevara: I live there now, and yeah, pretty much. My favorite thing is that the Wikipedia page for the neighborhood used to have separate lists for "Celebrities from Bensonhurst" and "Mobsters from Bensonhurst".

Lookit dat fukken Rifter.

Project Gotham was the best racing game because you got points for doing burnouts and other silly shit.

For writing content, I usually go with a WYSIWYG editor if there is one - EG, WordPress. For writing code, hell no, I write that out by hand.

Yeah, but does Google Docs make you feel like a badass? Because subversion does.

Christ, aside from the bracket/parenthesis thing, he sounds like a pedantic text-layout geek that doesn't get that those things do no translate to the web, where you can't even begin to assume that your users (or your CMS, really), can handle special characters.

I just calibrate my expectations, instead of my TV. Right now they're set to "not giving a shit", and I'm OK with that.

Goddamnit UMBC.

If you set the sliders at: bottom middle bottom middle middle bottom top middle, apparently the UMBC Retrievers are your 2008 NCAA Champions.

Voted "Espresso Cubible", because aside from that one and "Clean and Relaxed", I'd quickly go out of my fucking mind working in any of the other spaces. I like a clean, open, look for my workspace.

@tagger78: That's a pretty good idea, right there.

I actually went to UMBC (class of '05), and this is the first time they've made the tournament, so this is the first time I've ever cared about a) the NCAA, or b) UMBC.

I normally just cram a book or something under the back of my laptop when I'm going to be using it for a while, but these are probably better ideas.

Honestly, considering that it's Billy Ray Fucking Cyrus, I'm sort of shocked he didn't look even worse.

God help me for being such a dork, but I look at that picture, and all I can think of is the cover shot from Team Fortress 2.

Every single time, without exaggeration, that I see these previews, I see the "may have killed James Frey" line, and I re-read his Browns preview from last year.

You know, I agree with him on every point save that books don't count.

You know, this thing is so limited and weird that I think it would actually turn me off to Ubuntu. I already have Ubuntu installed and running on my laptop, but if this were my introduction to it, I probably wouldn't have switched.

I'm with banalover: Subject Paris to the cleaning power of fire. She'd be a lot more interesting.
