Oh, he’ll be provided with a new family in Arizona. That’s how these things are done.

Caught it at the 10? A slow, lumbering guy like that? Gotta let that bounce in the endzone and pick up the extra yardage. The Belichick I know would have them running gassers for such a blatant mental screwup.

Curt Schilling: “The problem is baseball has gotten too soft. We’re allowing far too many of them to come into the country and it is not as white as it used to be.”

A cranky old-timer complaining about the modern game? What are the odds?

Michigan J. Frog criminally underrated.

Marvin the Martian not being at least in the top five is a crime against humanity, and I demand a swift and savage retribution against those responsible.

As I noted to friends after reading Deadspin’s initial article relaying Fedora’s comments, Fedora’s not rejecting science so much as he’s espousing an ideology that’s pervasive in football.

His comments actually made me realize (somehow for the first time ever) that football at every level is made up of primarily

I don't think it's merely that middle-aged white men are being questioned that bothers people like Fedora; it's that they are being treated as irrelevant until proven otherwise, which happens to be exactly what they've done to women and blacks their whole lives. Without reading the settlement, I am 99.9% certain they didn’t touch the endowment. Insurance likely paid all of this.

It’s great news that the cops kept their composure and didn’t commit any “shooting fouls”

Trigg Adams, Sanders’ grandson

Borrowed virtue is the best virtue; all the saber-rattling, none of the actual risk. It’s been a staple of the GOP faithful for years.

If you falsely pull a fire alarm you can be charged. There should be no difference. Those cops could be stopping a real crime just the like the fire department could be going to a real call. At the very least there should be mandatory community service involved.

A guy who’s gonna call the cops on a hard screen is definitely going to complain loudly to the gym manager if the clerk doesn’t do what he asks. Not worth it for an $11-an-hour employee to get yelled at by her boss when she can just roll her eyes, do what he wants, and then laugh when the cop shows up.
