Conrad Bahr invented Torque Wrench in 1918. Bahr invented these to prevent the over-tightening of bold on water pipes. These wrenches share similar mechanisms with Torque Screwdrivers. These Wrenches also help the user to measure torque needed to fasten the bolt or nuts without over tightening them.
