I severely doubt that’s the case. The planets are probably inaccessible for story related reasons, or it’s for future dlc that is currently being worked on.

Dunno, force throwing a guy against a wall will pretty much stop them instantly. Also some people can resist mind tricks, but they're generally of a strong mind or a certain race (for example watto).
