I tried to stream this game in Spanish but after reading the first 5 or 10 paragraphs, realized there was not much of a point of translating as none of the puns made sense in Spanish.

Not the same. This is a DLL distributed in the games. If that company gets hacked and someone injects malware in the DLL, games with that DLL will run that DLL. Websites using javascript don’t have access to your computer. To me the problem is not information shared (at this point marketing companies know more about

Legends of Eisenwald was my favorite game of the year (2016?), loved it! Unfortunately not many others did as the developers abandoned the series.

For me it’s the Paradox strategy games (Crusader Kings 2, Europa Univeralis 4, etc). I love them to death and they’re my favorite games, but it’s hard to recommend to just anyone because they require quite some time to understand.

They said some time ago that they won’t ever do a converter, to leave that to modders. Problem is, it’s a DLC that has to be updated (sometimes heavily) after every single new DLC comes out, basically too much work for the money.

To me it’s all about functionality. I typically roll a caster, usually a hybrid healer/mage, then depending on the slots there needs to be a tank, a rogue, a wizard and a healer. If there are choices for romantic interests, the hottest looking female requires a slot of course so the other companions are chosen

PS Now works great, I’ve had it since January and love it. Unfortunately the best option ($99/year) is seasonal and not available currently, but when it comes back up I totally recommend it. Over 600 games with 8 or so added monthly.

The first pilot/mech I lost was like this, my mechs were pretty fine, then some small tank comes from out of the woods, sends a barrage of missiles, critical head shot, pilot dead.

Funny you mentioned the headshots. In my last mission I lost a good pilot in an almost untouched mech from a freaking mini tank, not even a mech. It sends out a volley of missiles and boom, critical headshot pilot dead, mech down. Then I used the god-tier ability “load game”, so overpowered.

The PS2 had more RPGs than you could shake a stick at, and it had a graphical capability that was good enough so games didn’t look like they were RPG-maker games (I know, there probably wasn’t RPG-maker back then, just saying).

I just played the So Long My Love game last week in an emulator, loved it. Hope this one comes to the West and keep it turn-based, I loved the turn-based mech combat.

I disagree. Devs need to understand, what you see on the screen is your (as a player) representation of what the characters are seeing. They are the swordsmen who know when a sword is better than what they have, the ‘+20' we see in the screen is a representation of the swordsman grabbing the sword from the stand,

You should look into Pantheon, an MMO in development by the same guys from Everquest (1), and they are going for the ‘old school’ style of MMO, no easy fast travel, grouping almost mandatory, no thousands of ‘get me 10 wolf pelts’ quests, etc. Just gather your friends, go to some dungeon and spend a few hours fighting

It’s 2018 I was hoping to see at least some women in that line, unfortunately doesn’t look like things have changed much in the game development world at least.

You just have to be careful about what you back. Look at the project scope and don’t get caught in the hype. If it reads too good to be true it probably is. I’ve backed many projects that have delivered excellent games, and have been tempted by others but decided not to because it felt it was too much offering, plus

I just watched it yesterday. Some people like movies that are so bad that they’re good. To me this movie is so bad that it’s just really bad, a waste of 90 minutes I could have been taken a nap instead.

I liked all the suggestions except the last one. I’d rather miss the odd discounts here and there than go through the hassle involved with losing my passport.

You need to understand though, the amount of text to translate in these games is staggering. Apart from the normal text from the story, every single NPC in the game has texts that basically tell a story for the NPC, they have different responses after every event in the game, and there are over a hundred NPCs.

Not at all. The games are in the same planet, but the events of Cold Steel are totally separate from the events of TitS. There are in-game books you can read that tell you about the history of the world, they may refer in passing some event or people from TitS, but that’s about it.

Also it’s about $15/month if you get the 3-month option. There’s an even cheaper $99/year option but that’s seasonal (usually shows during the Holidays).
