I guess I’m not as lazy than I think I am, hitting the two or three buttons to turn on my TV and audio has never bothered me, and I still don’t see the point of having a smart bulb when the switch is right there. At least not enough of a trouble to bother rebuying and connecting all of that.

Same here picked up a tap as to test it out. I don’t know if I’m ready to go all in yet, but im sure thinking about picking up another one for upstairs. I wish they did the communication thing where you can talk between two taps. I would totally buy a Tap 2 if they made one.

It is not my job to supplement the lack of wages the restaurant does not pay its employees.

The only thing I’m arguing against here is people claiming that a tip is something “extra” and that they already pay for the service they receive in the cost of their menu items; they don’t.

Why not just increase the price by the tip price and remove tipping? That would put us where we are now, without the whole tipping junk.

Oh don’t worry I already do go out of my way to try and pick places that do not have wait staff, just so I don’t have to make up the pay that their employers are not doing, in addition to paying for the food itself.

If it was possible to side step the servers entirely, to get up and get my own food, refill my own drink, clean my own table, at a sit down restaurant, just to not tip. I would be all over that.
